A technology services client of ours is looking for Senior Forging Engineer skills their ongoing projects.

Required Skills

Versed in the use of forming simulation software to digitally design and validate metal forming steps with speed and accuracy to evaluate feasibility, formability and thermal effects.Knowledge in non-linear mechanics and mechanical metallurgy to design, analyze and optimize process paths.Broad knowledge of forging processes and experience with Ni-based alloys and Titanium-based alloys used in the aerospace industry.Expertise in at least one of the following processes: Closed die forging, Hot die forging, Rolling and associated processes (Heat Treat, NDE, etc.)Versed in the use of information technologies at all stages of development (on-line literature search, data processing, written communication, and presentations) and other contemporary methods together with a range of approaches.B.S. or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science & Engineering, or related fieldAt least 8+ years of materials and processes engineering experience directly related to aerospace flight programs (level commensurate with experience).Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
