Public D&O Underwriter- AVP

Are you an experienced public D&O underwriter? Are you motivated by working in a highly collaborative environment? This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated professional to join our driven and motivated Central Region D&O team.

About The Role

Based in Chicago, you will play an instrumental role in helping us grow our portfolio and will be a key contributor in driving our strategy.

Additional Responsibilities

Efficiently underwrite business in line with our appetite, guidelines and authorityMaintain and develop strong relationships with our clients and brokersStay educated on the market environment, industry trends and laws/regulations impacting our businessCollaborate with our internal trading partners within SwissRe

Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office two to three days per week on average.

About The Team

The Central Region D&O team includes an experienced group of underwriters focusing on both large and small clients from Minnesota to Texas and all areas in between.

About You

We are looking for someone who has excellent negotiation skills and can demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team, effectively and under pressure.

Minimum 1-3 years relevant D&O experienceDetail oriented, self-motivated, strong communication and negotiation skillsPrior client and broker relationships a plus
