Sales Engineer Intern
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Join Swisslog and our Sales Solutions and Design team as a Sales Engineer. The Sales Engineer Intern will support pre-sales activities through the development of concepts, alternates, and strategies to create a comprehensive contract document that clearly defines system functionality and design while improving sales closure rate. Help to optimize proposals submitted to Swisslog's clients.
The right fit candidate will currently be living and attending school in or around the Newport News, Virginia area and be able to commute to our Newport News, VA office for this internship.
Responsibilities
Prepare and develop Subcontractor Bid Specifications in conjunction with other Swisslog personnel and Engineering TeamPrepare proposal documents for quotation submissionsCreate drawings in AutoCad of provided conceptsCreate drawings in Sketchup of provided conceptsCreate throughput calculations and analysisProvide information to fulfil Swisslog processes in regards to Risk Review, Design Reviews and Price Reviews.Support creation or update of reference documents, price document etc. and other duties of the Sales Engineering team.
Application Requirements
Working towards Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical EngineeringExperience in Microsoft products; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Project.Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
