Admissions Representative

A healthcare institution is seeking a temporary-to-hire Admissions Representative to assist their team. In this role, you'll serve as a welcoming point of contact for clients and their families, facilitating a seamless admission process through the effective gathering, organizing, and presenting of information. LOCATION: ON-SITE - Nashville, TN

SCHEDULES:Monday - Friday10:00 AM - 6:30 PM CST1:00 PM - 9:30 PM CST

PAY: $19.00 - $21.00/hr - Based on experience

Responsibilities:Provide assistance to visitors, clients, and their families, guiding them through the admissions procedure.Respond to phone calls, address inquiries, and communicate details about the available programs and services as required.Interact with clients and families, serving as a source of comfort and support throughout the admissions process.Complete paperwork and handle documentation in a timely manner to ensure the accuracy and currency of all records.Demonstrate a consistently high standard of professionalism and deliver excellent customer service at all times.

Qualifications:Possession of a High School Diploma or its equivalent.On-site work in Nashville, TN is a requirement.A Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 2+ years of experience in behavioral health or the healthcare sector.Previous clerical/admissions experience in healthcare, with a specific emphasis on managing the insurance verification process, is highly valued.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is necessary.Demonstrated strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.Bilingual proficiency is preferred.
