📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
A popular entertainment client is seeking a Programming Coordinator to join their team for a temporary freelance contract. This person will be integral as you will be supporting schedule creation, marketplace evaluation, and content management. Ideal candidate has experience in program scheduling, broadcast operations, or content programming, with a passion for movies and TV.
Pay: $22-24/hr Duration: 3 Months Location: Onsite 4 out of 5 days per week in Santa Monica Schedule: 9am - 6pm
Responsibilities include: -Evaluating programming and creating monthly schedules, considering licensing restrictions. -Performing final QC of logs before release for playout. -Inputting schedules into programming software. -Managing distribution of programming changes internally and externally. -Contributing to strategic analysis of the marketplace and researching new platforms. -Screening films and series to understand audience appeal and content restrictions. -Ensuring accurate programming metadata entry. -Assisting in pulling programming reports and analyzing inventory strength and competitive landscape.
