Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Role: Senior Site Reliability EngineerWork Location: New York City, NY

Key Responsibilities:Responsible to support and drive operational excellence through observability tools and best practices.Explore tools , capabilities and build Observable solutions aligning to SRE Strategic objectives and Roadmap.Identify and leverage automation via tools integrations and building scripts enabling centralized analysis and analytics solutions.Build relationships with operations, engineering, and Application teams and SREs at the technical level towards Observability solutions and deliverables.Experience reviewing operational state and resolving incidents for multiple infrastructure and Application teams leveraging Observability capabilities.Participate in crucial decision-making related to various observability tools and capabilities between buy vs build solutions.Deliver efficient user-focused solutions that address the observability challenges and cost implications leveraging multiple products.Assess infrastructure and applications at scale to determine the Observability requirements and develop plans to achieve the objectives.

You may be a good fit for our team If you have :Worked as a SRE supporting IT and business groups either towards Performance engineering (Observability), Operational support, and Application support.Very Comfortable writing Go or Python programs preferably or another low-level programming language.Worked on building observability tooling in small or large operations as an individual contributor.Experience working with a team of SREs and Engineering teams collaborating in the observability space.Experience engaging in operationalizing complex infrastructure and applications at scale.Worked with infrastructure and business towers in agile setting and customer-centric solutions with empathy and compassion.Worked in SaaS offering solutions, Openshift platform or another similar types and other cloud Native SolutionsExpertise in one or more of the major public clouds and Hybrid solutions.Certification in Platforms, Cloud or Observability solutions is a plus.Development or Architecture Experience is a plus.
