Role Summary

Act as a senior Business Analyst with previous experience working in Financial Services to work with users to gather requirements on various front and back-office applications. Also needs strong analytical skills, ability to anticipate issues, verify the enhancements, and trouble shoot production issues. Must be adept at making data useful and digestible by all parties involved. Strong SQL scripting and analysis skills are required.

Major Responsibilities:Work with business users to understand their needs and document them using various toolsAnticipate user needs and propose solutions and alternativesUnderstand functional and non-functional requirementsWork with development teams in building and testing the solutionsMaintain active communication channels with all stakeholders on deliverables and report statusesTrack all outstanding issues and manage them from initiation to production deploymentAbility to multitask and work with multiple teamsManage enhancement requests and production issues. Able to prioritize and allocate resources effectivelyQuality control of Snowflake Data.

Skills

Working knowledge of the financial industry is requiredprevious experience working in a Sell Side bank is requiredDemonstrable proficiency with SQL Server and data mining skillsStrong verbal, written, and presentation skillsExcellent with MS Office tools (Words, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)Working knowledge of JIRA and familiarity with Agile methodologyApplication supportRegulatory reporting

Good to Have:Experience in Finance / Banking industry – some understanding of Securities and Banking products
