📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities

Company is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team in building a next-generation SaaS patient safety reporting platform. The ideal candidate will have a minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in developing APIs using Java, frontend applications development expertise with Angular or similar framework (React, Vue, etc.), and a strong background in building solutions in the healthcare space. In addition, the candidate should possess extensive experience working in cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure or AWS. Location: Baltimore, MD or Remote
Responsibilities include:API Development:Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure APIs using Java.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure API functionality meets business needs.Conduct thorough testing and debugging of APIs to ensure high performance and reliability.
Frontend Development:Develop responsive and intuitive frontend applications using Angular.Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.Ensure a seamless and engaging user experience across various devices.
Healthcare Expertise:Apply your extensive knowledge of the healthcare industry to design and develop solutions that address unique challenges and requirements.Stay informed about industry trends,regulations, and best practices to contribute valuable insights to the team.
Cloud Environment:Utilize your expertise in cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure or AWS, to deploy, manage, and optimize software solutions.Implement best practices for security, scalability, and performance in the cloud environment.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in API and frontend development.Strong proficiency in Java for API development (Springboot, JHipster).Experience in frontend development using Angular.Substantial background in the healthcare industry.Extensive experience with cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure or AWS.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Benefits:
