About Us

We are currently seeking a Global Process Quality Improvement Lead for the Global Vegetable Quality Assurance team in Nampa, ID. (This role may potentially be based at other appropriate Syngenta Veg sites, including Woodland, CA)

Accountabilities

Own and maintain the process map methodology and template that will be used across VegetablesDevelop process maps with the functions/departments to agree on roles and responsibilitiesIdentify and resolve gaps in roles/responsibilities between functions or departmentsSupport and secure that process mapping will be used for Continuous ImprovementExchange best practices & learnings and drive harmonization cross-functionalManage projects regarding harmonization and optimization

Qualifications

Critical Knowledge

Experience in Seed Science, Horticulture or related fieldMore than 5 years of Vegetable Seeds QC or Processing industry knowledge; with a minimum of five years in an international company, preferably in a matrix structureKnowledge, experience and understanding of E2E Vegetable Seeds business processes

Critical Experience

Proven success in building relationships5 years of experience in seeds / horticultural / agricultural business or supply chainExperience in working / leading multi-disciplinary and multi cultural teams and or departmentsSupply Chain Operations / planning / project managementTeam building and change management skillsStrategic leadership abilities and experience
