T. Rowe Price is seeking a skilled Lead Business Analyst to join our Chief Data Office team. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze, interpret, and leverage data to improve business processes and drive strategic business decisions through the development of Data Products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data, business analysis, and project management.

Role summary and job responsibilities

Accountability for work of self and sometimes others, provides process and standards advice in area of specialtyConduct in-depth data analysis to identify business needs, opportunities, and areas for improvement.Collaborate with stakeholders from various departments to gather requirements, understand business processes, and align on project objectives.Communicate and validate requirements with relevant stakeholders.Develop and maintain clear and well-structured business requirements documentation, including workflows and specifications.Present findings and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable insights.Drive continuous process improvement initiatives, recommending and implementing solutions to enhance operational efficiency.Utilize business analysis methodologies and tools to support project management processes, such as Agile or Waterfall methodologies.Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and ensure deliverables are met within established timelines and budgets.Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in business analysis to inform decision-making and strategy development.Requires specialized knowledge and expertise in their own job discipline and deep experience in integrating related disciplinary knowledgeAccountable for work of self and others; sets standards around which others will operateWorks independently, with guidance in only the most complex situationsActs as a trusted advisor to business partners, internally and externally, to understand their goals and objectives on a regular basisWorks on initiatives with high complexity and often high volume, such as a large, diverse number of applications or across a business domainBuilds a wide, active network that is regularly engaged

Requirements

Typically a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.Typically 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.In-depth understand of the Financial Service industry, with strong data related project experience preferred.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide strategic recommendations.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in presenting to stakeholders at various levels.Proven track record of successful project delivery and business process improvements.Proficiency in data analysis tools, SQL queries and business analysis methodologies, and project management software.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred

Project Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent are preferred

FINRA Requirements

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for remote work up to three days a week.
