Material Flow Coordinator (Non-Exempt)
Department: Mill
Reports to: Asst Manager Mill, Millwork Division Manager
Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to oversee all aspects of our shipping and receiving operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in shipping and excellent communication skills.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.Receive and put away stock/transfer/special order materialVerify the accuracy and quality of received items Organize and optimize storage space for the hardwood/outside mill racks/sheet goods Schedule and coordinate the packing and shipping of finished products, ensuring that all outgoing shipments are complete and meet customer requirementsKeep an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand Wrap and prep finished orders for delivery/pick upUse Bistrack or spreadsheet to locate completed projects for easy reference and loading by anyoneWork with drivers to load all materials and documents (pics) Communicate with assistant mill manager/floor manager/sales if projects are complete or if backorders are neededMaintain a valid forklift certification

Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesMust have a valid driver's license3+ years of shipping/dispatch experienceFamiliarity with safety protocolsEffective communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to work collaboratively Creative problem-solving skillsAbility to lift 50+ poundsAbility to work inside a warehouse environment and outside in a lumber yard in all types of weather conditions
