📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Role: Informatica MDMLocation: Grapevine, TX
JDKey Responsibilities:Interact with business users and source teams to gather requirements and understand business and data requirements.Prepare effort estimates and provide input for project planning.Convert business requirements into functional and technical specifications.Ensure technical specifications meet the business requirements and present design reviews in Governance meetings.Work with source systems to setup data transfer mechanisms and confirm SLAs regarding source data.Develop ETL extracts using tools like Informatica, PDO, IDQ, and TPT.Prepare test plans, test cases, and execute unit testing.Support user acceptance testing and production deployment.Develop automation scripts using Informatica DVO, shell scripts, SQL scripts, and BTEQs.Coordinate with product management, scrum teams, and support engineers to deliver stable automation suites.Analyze and verify best automated approaches and execute acceptance, integration, installation, and system testing.Contribute to technical design documentation for end-to-end business data flow.Provide project release sign-off to stakeholders for each phase of activity completed.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.5 years of experience in data integration, ETL development, or related roles.Proficiency in tools such as Informatica PowerCenter, SQL Server, IDQ, MongoDB, Informatica MDM, and Mainframe.Strong understanding of SQL and HQL scripting for data validation.Experience with automation tools such as Informatica DVO and shell scripting.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
