Title: Laboratory Technician

Overview
General responsibilities include maintenance of laboratory equipment, data entry, maintenance of laboratory records including quality control, instrument logs, and inventory of reagents and supplies.
CORE FUNCTIONS
Perform preparation of reagents and controls Perform daily and weekly maintenance of equipment per SOPs (standard operating procedures) and any other applicable documentation Maintain laboratory and equipment clean and functional (On the job training will be provided) Perform all tasks related to clinical sample testing (blood, urine), including sample receipt, log-in, sample preparation and testing, recording test results, and disposing of samples Organize stock and maintains inventory; order stock as needed Adhere to existing safety standards and help improve laboratory safety practices whenever possible Provide support to direct and extended R&D team as necessary

Core Requirements
Associate Degree- with 3 years' experience 4-year bachelor's degree (Chemistry, Biology, or other STEM related field) with 0-2 years' experience Experience with urine chemistry and/or hematology diagnostic testing and instrumentation preferred
