We are teaming up with top experts to create a sustainable future!We're in search of a Payroll Manager to oversee our payroll operations. This candidate will ensure accurate and timely payment of payroll expenses and taxes.
Responsibilities:Oversee multistate payroll operationsReview and transmit payroll files to ADPRecommend automation and improvements for payroll processesCoordinate timekeeping and payroll systemsPlay an integral role during acquisitionsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local lawsSupervise, manage, and mentor team membersCoordinate with auditors on SOX, internal, and external auditsCollaborate with HR and Accounting teams to reconcile discrepanciesMaintain accurate records and prepare audit reportsCoordinate Workers Compensation and Multiple Work Site location reportsAssist in resolving any tax variances identified by the payroll tax accountantCoordinate quarter and year-end activities
Must-Have Skills:3-5 years of experience in payroll management leading teams of 3 or more10-15+ years of overall payroll experienceProficiency in handling multistate payrollUp-to-date understanding of payroll procedures and relevant lawsProficient in using ADPBachelor’s degreeCPP designation OR Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required
