Job Description

The infrastructure developer must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant development experience within the networking domain using programming/scripting languages e.g PythonUnderstanding of various network devices – Routers, switches, firewalls, proxies, load balancers.Good Understanding of version and revision control practices and procedures.Understanding of various OS, database servers, datacenters.Knowledge of one or more infrastructure disciplines such as hardware, networking terminology, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resiliency.Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming/scripting/devops languages: Python, Ansible, Terraform, JSONGood Understanding of microservices, CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, REST APIs as well as container-based deployment models.Experience in standard industry change management processes and implementing methodical infrastructure change processes in a high-risk environment.Understanding of IP addressing and network protocols.Self-Starter who can take initiative and has the ability to work independently and collaborativelyMust have strong communications skills – both written and verbalStrong critical thinking and problem solving skills with clear communicationStrong work ethic with a results oriented mindsetAbility to collaborate with different roles and different levels across different teams to achieve common goalsDemonstrated leadership and collaboration skills in a large enterprise environmentOrganized and able to follow JPMC processes designed to minimize risk to the environment
