At TalentWealth Recruiting we assist independent Wealth Management firms across the country in hiring top professionals to join their practices. Our client located in Bellevue, WA is a well-established independent practice in need of an Associate Financial Advisor to join their team to assist with managing a segment of existing clients.
This is a unique fully remote opportunity that will focus on financial planning (not asset gathering) while maintaining current relationships and offers a high-end salary plus bonus, full benefits, 401k w/ match, and PTO.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:The following duties generally represent the nature and level of work assigned:Prepare financial planning, asset allocation, and investment performance reports for client meetingsSupport the Senior Advisors in creating and assembling materials for client meetingsAttend client meetingsAssist in the execution of client recommendationsAssist the Senior Advisors in evaluating client financial strategies and decisions by conducting financial analyses on a wide range of investment, tax, estate, and financial planning topicsPerform research in investments, income tax planning, estate planning, employee benefits, the impact of recent regulations, and financial marketsManage workflow and prioritize projectsThe Relationship Manager will immediately begin work in the following areas:
Investment strategiesDeferred StockAsset allocationCash flow strategiesTax planningRetirement planningInsurance StrategiesEstate planningCharitable givingFinancial and portfolio reporting
Qualifications:Bachelorβs degree or higherFINRA series 65 preferredCertified Financial Planner designation a plus (or willing to obtain within two years)Experience with goals-based planning software (ex.. eMoney, MoneGuidePro)Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and listening skillsAbility to understand and explain sophisticated financial concepts and issuesStrong problem-solving skillsDetail-oriented, accurate, organized, able to set priorities, self-starterFinancial planning/wealth management acumen, judgment, and experiencePassionate about doing what is best for clients and limiting conflicts inherent in the broader industryTeam player, collaborative, able to work with and through othersDesire/ability to work successfully in a small company environmentProficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
