What You'll Do
Our Beverage Technology and Innovation team is proud of where we’ve been, but more interested in where we’re going. This team drives creativity, growing our portfolio of products.
You’ll lead product quality and commercialization in collaboration with your assigned co-packers, third party warehouses, repackaging locations, and your internal partners by providing guidance, technical support, and training. This is an opportunity for you to take the lead, mixing the tactical with the strategic.

Location: Remote Work from Home ideally in New York, California, or North Carolina
Primary Co-Packer Locations: Co-Packer Locations: NY, CA, NC
Annual Bonus Potential: 8% - Eligibility is based on the company hitting annual financial targets.
Base Salary: $85,000 - $115,000 (depending on experience).
Note: This range is a national average, but compensation will be reviewed based on geographical location depending on where the applicant will be working. New hires typically receive between minimum and midpoint, however, we may go slightly higher based on experience, internal equity and market.
Build strong partnerships with the co-packer teams, managing performance through accountability, while continuously evaluating metrics (e.g., complaints per million, first-time quality) and processes to achieve optimum quality and then communicating opportunities to Leadership. Conduct regular performance assessments to ensure compliance with food safety standards, specifications, and quality performance metrics, identifying cost and efficiency improvements, then communicating to our Leadership. Support the commercialization scale-up for product changes and introductions (e.g., flavors, packaging, and formulation) in order to support successful launches in collaboration with Supply Chain and R&D. Develop and enhance foundational quality programs and trainings, deployable to internal and external customers and partners. Manage Product Hold disposition, complaint investigations, and CAPA (corrective action preventative action) management programs via our Quality Management System (AssurX). Assist SQF Practitioners in ensuring that the SQF system is in place and operating sustainably. Communicate SQF practices to all team members. Ensure that the plant operates according to government and SQF guidelines. Ultimately responsible for food safety and quality. Ensure food safety, quality, and SQF practices are followed at all times, advising your immediate manager of any food safety and/or quality issues. Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
What You Bring
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in food manufacturing, leading and influencing teams through investigation resolution. Understanding of GFSI Food Safety standards via auditing platforms (e.g., SQF and BRC). Ability to travel up to 70%, for regular facility visits, as well as burst of travel during commercialization launches, which will necessitate a flexible schedule, occasionally working evenings and weekends as needed. Please note, travel is currently paused due to Covid. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
