A Community Health Center in Los Angeles is actively seeking a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician to join one of their FQHCs!
About the Opportunity:Start Date: ASAPAssignment Length: OngoingSchedule: Monday to Friday Hours: 8:30am to 8:30pm (open to 3/12s, 4/10s, or 5/8s, as well as part timers)Patient Population: AdultsResponsibilities:
The Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician will:Provides primary care services to Clinic patients including: Conducting physical examinationsOrdering and interpreting the results of laboratory, x-ray and other tests Determining and implementing courses of treatmentProviding and monitoring the results of treatment; and adjusting as neededProactively assists the patient and family through all facets of accessing care at the Clinic and elsewhere, serving as a resource to resolve patient and family concerns. Confers with student and resident physicians and other professional and support staff regarding care and treatment of patients and assists/mentors them in management of illness.Qualifications:A valid license to practice medicine in the State of California, with no pending or previous disciplinary action from any state licensing entityBoard certification in primary care specialty (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine)Current DEA license and BCLS certificate Competency in evaluating and treating general pediatric and adult ambulatory careDesired Skills:1+ year of MD/DO experience
