A professional services firm in New York City is currently seeking an experienced Tax professional to join their growing team as their new International Tax Senior.
Responsibilities:The International Tax Senior will :Prepare international tax forms and informational returns, including Forms 5471, 5472, 8865, 8858, 8621, and 1042, 3520 and corresponding workpapersResearch for international tax technical issuesBuild and manage client relationshipsManage compliance projects and engagement budgetsRetain, develop, and guide junior client service team members by providing effective performance feedback, clear delegation and supervision, and ensuring team responsibilities are consistent with skills and developmental goalsCoordinate outsourced workstreamsBuild on technical competence by keeping up to date on trends, developments and technical authorities and apply them to complex situationsProactively build relationships with the client personnel projects; communicate effectively with the tax team to provide superior client serviceQualifications:2+ years of related Tax experienceBachelor's Degree in AccountingExperience in a Public Accounting environmentSolid understanding of fundamental International Tax concepts & termsComputer savvyMicrosoft Excel proficientSolid analytical, mathematical, and research skillsGreat interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skillsStrong attention to detailHighly organized
