A non-profit organization in New York is looking to add a new Job Developer to their growing team.
The Job Developer will be responsible for generating potential job orders, researching and developing job opportunities for students, and maintaining organized records of contacted employers.
Essential Functions:Cold call and email employers to research and develop job opportunities for studentsUtilize various job search engines to generate potential job ordersWork collaboratively with the Placement Coordinators by submitting job orders and recording themMaintain organized records of contacted employers as well as the result of any communicationsQualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentAt least 2 years' experience in Sales or Job DevelopmentOral and written communication skills, including drafting of emailsEstablishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employers and staffAbility to work independently and collaboratively as a teamAbility to take direction when neededMeticulous attention to detailEfficient with meeting deadlines and time managementAbility to make routine decisions in accordance with department needsExcellent phone etiquetteFamiliarity with: Microsoft Office SuiteGoogle WorkspaceAdobe Acrobat ReaderExerting up to 15 lbs. of force occasionally and/or lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects of this weight or lighterAbility to walk for extended periods of time
