A recognized nationwide healthcare network is currently seeking license Pediatricians to join one of their facilities. Under the guidance of the Medical Director, physicians are responsible for evaluating and providing evidence-based treatment to pediatric urgent care patients.About the Opportunity:Schedule: 12-hour shifts, PRN/Part-timeSetting: Pediatric Urgent Care - OutpatientLocations: CA, CT, D.C., MA, MD, NJ, NY, & VTResponsibilities:The Pediatrician will:Assess and treat acute injury and illness Perform procedural careTake radiographs and providing preliminary interpretation of x-rays with official radiology over-readsOversee in-person patient flow and daily functions of the office along with oversight of other providers, staff, and trainees on shiftMaintain operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes to the management teamWork in conjunction with the on-site teams to assure completion of daily tasks including but not limited to lab and radiology result review, patient follow-up, and timely responses to patient calls and questionsMaintain safe, secure, equitable, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing safety procedures, quality standards, and complying with legal regulationsAssist the clinical team and patients with complaints and taking an active role in service recovery when neededQualifications:Board Certified/Eligible in Pediatrics1+ year of Urgent Care experienceLicensed to practice in the New YorkWorking knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR's)
