Cyber Security Engineer

As a Cyber Security Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in safeguarding the company's digital assets and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities:Lead comprehensive security risk assessments and audits.Design and execute a robust security strategy.Respond swiftly to cybersecurity incidents, ensuring compliance with legal and privacy obligations.Translate complex security data into digestible reports for stakeholders.Streamline cybersecurity operations and integrate innovative security tools.Collaborate with business leaders to mitigate information security risks.Oversee risk and compliance issues, coordinating responses across the organization.Develop contingency plans and business continuity strategies.Maintain a centralized dashboard for leadership, providing a clear overview of cybersecurity risks and statuses.Incorporate CMMC 2.0 standards into security practices and spearhead efforts to achieve and maintain CMMC 2.0 certification.

Requirements:6+ years of IT experience, with a focus on cybersecurity and compliance.Familiarity with legal, privacy, and regulatory compliance standards such as NIST-800, SOC, GDPR, SOX, etc.CISSP, CISM, or other relevant security certifications.Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and security stack.Proven ability to coordinate tasks to complete third-party assessments.Ability to juggle multiple priorities and work effectively with minimal supervision.
