Accounts Payable Manager

Tatum by Randstad is working with an organization located in the Denver Tech Center currently looking for an Accounts Payable Manager. The company is in growth mode as they expand nationwide.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations for all areas within AP and ensure all procedures and policies are being followed such as ensuringServe as the resident expert on our AP automation software, orchestrating seamless integration with our ERP system.Explore avenues to enhance our AP automation software, perpetuating efficiency.Mentor and nurture the AP team, advocating for cross-training initiatives and championing a culture of continuous improvement.Ensure accounts payable processes and controls are in compliance with SOXManage of a team of 8Contacting vendors to request invoices, statements and correspondence be sent to, move to paperlessReconciling vendor statementsEnsure all reconciliations and research of vendors accounts and ensure account issues are resolved on a timely basisParticipate in a wide variety of special projects as needed

Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or FinanceProficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and ERP system skills6 years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a leadership rolePrevious experience managing accounting staff in AP (or Team Leader)Great Plains software requiredStrong analytical, problem-solving and organization skillsExcel skills required, exposure to Medius would be idealLocal Denver only candidates.
