Senior Accountant

Tatum by Randstad is working with an investment organization in Downtown Denver seeing a strong Senior Accountant to join their team. This role will be pivotal in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will contribute to various financial analyses and assist in special projects as needed.Key Responsibilities:Prepare timely and accurate financial and regulatory reports, including monthly financials, quarterly and annual statements, debt covenants, and regulatory filings.Manage the quarterly deferred tax and CECL workbooks, ensuring documentation is up to date.Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external audits.Assist in monitoring liquidity, debt levels, and compliance with debt covenants.Support compliance with government reporting requirements and tax filings.Collaborate with management on special projects, ad hoc reporting, and analysis.Assist in testing, implementing, or enhancing new systems, including ERP.Assist with general accounting entries and month-end closing activities.Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding items promptly.Provide backup support to team members and assist in daily settlement and reconciliations.Support the preparation and review of monthly variance analyses and Board packages.Conduct technical accounting and regulatory research as required, streamlining reporting processes and documenting procedures.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.Master's Degree and CPA License strongly preferred.3-6+ years of progressive experience in accounting.Public Accounting would be highly desiredPrevious experience in banking or financial services strongly desired.The company is currently working a hybrid schedule. The role is in Downtown Denver near the baseball stadium.The company is ONLY looking at local Denver candidate.
