Manufacturing Engineer

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer at Rugby Manufacturing to help us implement manufacturing processes that result in high-quality products.

Responsibilities:Lead and implement Continuous Improvement, Lean, and Kaizen events to reach established goals and incentives in various Value Streams by following Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity guidelinesFind ways to automate processes using robotics and other sourcesManage/oversee environmental processes and reportingDevelop relationships with subordinates that will result in a cohesive team that understands the company’s direction, goals, and visionDevelop processes that will reduce costs and increase efficiencies as a manufacturing engineerDevelop processes that meet or exceed quality requirementsMust be proficient in Microsoft Office business applications such as; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.Required to sit or stand, reach, bend and move about the facility

Requirements:BS Engineering Degree or 6 years of Manufacturing Engineer experience or education in a manufacturing-related field, with emphasis on project managementClear and precise oral and written communication skills are requiredAbility to embrace continuous improvement to question and evaluate systems/procedures for the most efficient uses, better communications, and process improvements on an ongoing basisKnowledge of Continuous Improvement, 5S, Lean, Six-Sigma, and Kaizen planningThe role is on-site at our Rugby, ND location. Must be willing to work in office M-F.
