Immigration SpecialistRemote, USAW2 Contract to Hire45-60/hr We are passionate about parallel and visual computing. Today, our GPU simulates human intelligence, running deep learning algorithms and acting as the brain of computers, robots, and self-driving cars that can perceive and understand the world. In this role you will support both U.S. and International immigration. You should have an understanding of current immigration requirements and remain abreast on new developments. You will serve as the main point of contact for managers, new hires, existing employees, and the HR team on all immigration matters. What you'll be doing:Maintaining and enhancing partnership with global vendorsGuiding employees and managers on immigration policies and requirementsActing as a liaison between candidates and outside counsel and provide continuous support and coordination to keep the immigration process movingFacilitating assessment of new candidates as presented for eligibility for sponsorshipAnalyzing complex immigration matters and effectively communicate solutions to internal clients in collaboration with outside immigration counselActively identify process improvements focusing on employee experienceAssist with invoice processing/tracking of payment status What we need to see:Bachelor’s degree in HR or related area (or equivalent experience)Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate business immigrationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multitask using analytical skills within a rapidly changing environment with ever-changing demandsAbility to demonstrate attention to detail and strong organizational and data entry skillsMaintains a proven sense of integrity and confidentialityAbility to tackle problems under tight deadlinesDemonstrate flexibility and initiative regarding assignments for self and teamMeet assigned deadlines and communicate case progress/status/issues to supervisor
