Our client is a global leader in advancing cancer diagnostics & in workflow solutions and automation, integrating each step in the workflow. They are the only company to own the workflow from biopsy to diagnosis.
The Shipping Clerk is responsible for daily activities and providing support for Production Scheduling, Customer Service and Sales. They will ensure the accuracy of shipment scheduling, and be required to follow all domestic and international compliance and shipping procedures. Responsibilities:for the scheduling of all outbound orders using various shipping methods.and maintaining accurate shipping documents.shipments with transportation suppliers and arrange for pickup of customer orders.effectively with other departments to schedule deliveries and pick-up of returned products.and reports performance metrics as it relates to department goals and objectives.- match receipts to PO's, transact items into the ERP system, and move them to their appropriate storage location.inventory accuracy through timely inventory transactions and accurate data entryand maintain warehouse and inventory areas for efficient material storage and handling; manually stocks inventory shelving with stock items received or returned.
Requirements:experience in a cGMP warehouseto understand transit times and methods of shipmentworking with an onsite shipping system & with shipping couriersin drafting all export/import documentation.to provide and document information related to shipmentsto detail; demonstrates a high degree of accuracytelephone, verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skillsoffice and computer skills, with experience using MS Excel.experience (SAP preferred)of 2 + years of shipping experience in a manufacturing environment with experience performing material transactions using traditional inventory control systems.
