PRODUCTION OPERATOR (BATCHMAKER/ PREP - COOK/FILLER-CAPPING MACHINE)
2nd Shift, 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM Pay starting at $15.77-$19.62
Select and weigh ingredients following the exact instructions on recipe cards. Batch, stage, label, record, and issue ingredients used. Operates kitchen processing equipment.
What You'll Do
Move products, materials, or equipment between work areasInspect food products and follow (FIFO) first-in, first-out rotation of ingredientsMeasure and weigh ingredientsRecord operational or production dataOperate pumping systemsFollow work orders and instructions on recipe cardsOperate roasters, choppers, and other food processing equipmentUse of handheld scan gun to issue material to jobs, and move inventory in DEACOMAssist Kettle Cooks when neededMaintain a clean and safe working environmentMonitor capping operation to maintain adequate lid levels and lid torque. Make all necessary adjustments to maintain a non-stop capping operation.Monitor filler operation to ensure correct fill weight and make necessary adjustmentsMonitor and record fill temperatures at each batch's beginning, middle, and end.Fill out daily documentation and turn in dailyChange out guides and adjust rails when necessary after a glass changeRinse out filler, grease plugs, and pistons after a recipe change when needed.
What You'll Need
Must be able to lift up to 50-65 pounds up to four feet high without assistance.Required to bend, stoop, pull, and push in performance of job duties.
