WAREHOUSE TEAM LEAD - 3rd Shift - Carrollton, TX
Overview
The Warehouse Team Lead is responsible for ensuring day-to-day operations progress smoothly. They will assist the Warehouse Supervisor in overseeing warehouse associates in day-to-day operations and recommend improvements
in all duties and responsibilities with traffic, the warehouse, and the respective employees of such areas.
What You'll Do
Lead team members by providing knowledge, experience, motivation, support, and advice.Ensure all proper Safety and warehouse procedures are followed.Troubleshoot equipment and provide guidance to meet company standards on quality and performance.Encourage and demonstrate dedicated teamwork and supportive attitudes between team members and other departments.Ensure standards for the department meet or exceed goals while maintaining standards.Find, investigate, and resolve any issues encountered in the department.Help team members by coaching and training them in accordance with company guidelines.Help to maintain the organization’s lean and continuous improvement methodology by identifying and removing waste in the process.Perform inspections and conduct routine audits of work areas for compliance to safety, sanitation, and quality requirements.Any other duties assigned by management.
What You'll Need
High School Diploma or equivalent required2-4 years’ experience in manufacturing/production environment requiredLeadership experience preferred
