📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
TEC GROUP IS URGENTLY SEEKING A QUALITY ENGINEER/QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER WITH AEROSPACE AND DEFENSE EXPERIENCE TO JOIN OUR ESTEEMED AEROSPACE CLIENT IN CAMARILLO
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDevelops and writes procedures to implement the Quality Assurance Program audits.Develop and implement parts of the Quality Assurance Program.Plan and direct activities for the development and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, products, and materials.Creates and implements training programs for inspectors Trains other manufacturing personnel on quality processes.Will take corrective actions when issues arise to prevent recurrence.Reviews customer's Request for Proposal for Quality Assurance Requirements against the Quality Assurance Program and provide direction for proposals.Works with customer Q.A. Representatives to resolve problems and provides assistance where required.Obtains necessary documentation for Project Team such as Engineering drawings, BOM’s, Inspections, etc.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEBS or BA degree from a four-year college or university3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering/Quality Assurance within an aerospace and/or military aircraft parts manufacturing companyMust have strong and recent experience in Quality Assurance General knowledge of commercial Aerospace and military Quality Assurance Systems and Procedures.Experience with a minimum of one of these Mil Specs MIL-STD-1520 MIL-Q-9858, MIL-I-45208Boeing D1-9000 or QS 9000, MIL-STD-45662, Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Part 21.203, NASA Handbook 5300.1, IS09001Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations or (DAR and ASPR) knowledge of geometric (ANSI Y-14.5)
