Job Description:Our client, a leading organization based in Culver City, CA, is currently seeking an experienced Senior Tax Associate to join their dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Senior Tax Director, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with federal, state, international, and local tax regulations.
Responsibilities:Prepare federal, state, international, and local tax returns workpapers.Complete tax returns using tax compliance software.Prepare federal and state extensions and applicable quarterly payments.Assist in corresponding with tax authorities.Prepare and file other tax filings for various reporting requirements (Form 1099-MISC and FBAR filings).Prepare workpapers and supporting schedules for quarterly and annual income tax provision, including federal, state, and international.Analyze and prepare return-to-provision reconciliation.Assist in quarterly and annual financial reporting related to income tax disclosure.Collaborate with external advisors and auditors.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or accounting.Three to five years of experience in preparing federal, state, and international income tax returns; experience in income tax provision is a plus.Experience with tax compliance software ONESOURCE preferred.Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.Detail-oriented with the ability to take on additional responsibilities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
