📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Qualifications:Background working in education (preferred).Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.Responsibilities:Act as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization.Analyze business operations to identify opportunities for process automation and improvement.Assist in redesigning and documenting business processes for new technology implementations.Translate high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications for IT.Educate the IT organization about business needs and priorities.Facilitate communication between business units and IT to negotiate agreements and commitments.Stay informed about technological trends and recommend solutions to enhance the enterprise's competitive edge.Provide recommendations for buy vs. build decisions.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Excellent verbal communication skills.Strong written presentation and documentation skills.Ability to envision the big picture and improvise when necessary.Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.Demonstrated success in managing and working with people to establish and achieve goals and objectives.
