Quality Assurance Engineer

Techcyte is searching for remote Quality Assurance Engineers who want to help us grow our workforce. Our Quality Assurance Engineers are responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our cloud-native AI diagnostics applications. We are seeking a highly motivated person who not only excels in their professional skills but also possesses a keen understanding and proficiency in multicultural communication. Ideally this person will be based in the Eastern Timezone as the majority of our QA team is located in Luxembourg.

Responsibilities:Bring your expertise in deep exploratory testing to uncover nuanced issues beyond conventional testing boundaries.Reviews and validates requirements and technical specificationsDevelops and executes detailed test cases based on requirements and/or customer feedback and prioritizationDocuments results; offer observations or improvements after analysis of test results and overall product qualityWorks closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and product owners to understand requirements, provide input during design and development, and ensure quality throughout the software development life cycleManages testing efforts across varied projects and tasks under tight deadlinesContinuously improves. Identifying opportunities for process improvementsWilling to overlap with CET (Central European Time ) when requiredOther duties as assigned

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.At least 2+ years of quality assurance experience in Agile Development environmentsExperience in conducting deep exploratory testing to identify potential issues, vulnerabilities, and areas for improvement not covered by standard testing procedures.Experience with web-based application testingExperience with integration testing between applicationsMust know software Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Knows quality assurance methodologies, standards, and best practices.Excellent communication skills to convey testing strategies, results, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders with the ability to navigate and bridge cultural differencesStrong process-oriented mindset.Ability to assess and manage risks associated with software quality and make informed decisions.Commitment to continuous improvement, staying current with industry trends, and incorporating best practices into QA processes.

Work from HomeWhile we do have offices available for use, the majority of our workforce spends most, if not all, of their time working from the comfort of their home. Every team member has a daily standup meeting to touch base with their team and a monthly all hands meeting for the whole company to get updates. Additional meetings are created as needed, and the majority are impromptu.
