Refinery Water Treatment Chemical Site Manager
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
International chemical manufacturer is looking for a refinery chemical site manager to oversee their water treatment operations in a client site in Garyville, LA. Manager will oversee all water treatment operations (including chemical applications to boilers, cooling towers and waste water systems) in the plant. Manager will oversee the work of junior sales people and technicians and guide their career development. Manager will be primary contact for plant management and will make new sales and technical recommendations to them.
Company is looking for someone with the following qualifications:4 year degree in a technical field (Chem Eng, Chemistry, Biology, Mech Eng, etc.)At least 8 years of direct industrial water treatment chemical experience.At least 4 years of water treatment chemical experience in a refinery.Previous management experienceStrong communications skills, written and oral.Strong mechanical aptitude
Company offers a base salary of 120-150K, excellent commission/bonus plan (guaranteed for the first year) , company car, laptop, cell phone, 401K and comprehensive benefits package.
