TEKsystems is currently searching for career-driven candidates interested in a Bank Teller opportunity with a Fortune 100 Financial Institution in the North Phoenix, AZ 85022 area!
Job Description
To provide members and prospective members the full range of products and services offered by the client including depository accounts such as checking, savings, certificate IRA, revocable trust and estate accounts; Lending products; and credit/debit cards. To perform moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision. Provide assistance/training to lower level team members.
Experience
1-3 years of banking experience, retail, cash handlingAbility to communicate effectively in person, over the phone and via emailAssociate or Bachelor degree preferred but not required
Responsibilities
Analyze, research and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts/loansAssist members with submitting consumer/mortgage/equity loan, overdraft protection and credit card applicationsCounsel current and prospective members about company products and servicesEnsure cash and other negotiable instruments are handled properlyIdentify opportunities to cross service products and increase product penetrationPerform platform banking functionsAssist level I team membersUnderstand and comply with federal and other regulations relating to financial products and servicesMay assist with Branch Office vault opening, closing and balancing proceduresMay serve as a Branch Office and/or ATM vault custodianPerform other duties as assigned
Hours: M-TH 8:30AM-5:30PM, Friday 8:30AM-6:00PM Saturday 8:30AM-1:30PM (candidates must be comfortable working up to 3 Saturdays a month. Will have a day off throughout the week when scheduled to work a Saturday)
