Description
The Information Assurance Engineer will focus on integrating information security and risk management into the system development lifecycles. This position will be responsible for working with Network Administration and System Administration teams to ensure operational security of DoD networks and systems. Duties & Responsibilities: Install, configure, administer and maintain DoD information assurance and cyber security tools Monitor systems for security, appropriate access per authorization and configuration integrity Conduct vulnerability scans of software, systems and networks All other duties as assigned

Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: An Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum of 2 year of relevant technical experience Experience working with HBSS ACAS, IDS, STIG Active Secret Clearance at employment start date (an Active Interim Secret Clearance may substitute) DoD 8570 IAT-II Certification (e.g. Security+ CE, CCNA Security or other approved certifications)
