📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Description
The client is looking for 2 IT Vendor Analysts to join the Energy team for a 1-year long contract. There is the potential to be extended or hired on. The client recently sold their Energy division and these two IT Vendor Analysts will be joining the new Energy division. They will be reporting to the Sr. Director of Delivery (Vendor Management). This person does not have to be super technical, but if they have an IT background with experience as an analyst that would be ideal. This person will be looking at IT services contracts. They are willing to train someone on the IT skills.
Day-to-day this person will be working on vendor contracts, working with the business to understand what they need from the vendor, and then relaying that to the procurement team to solidify the contracts. For example: we have identified we really need a vendor to come in and take care of all of telecommunications. So, what would we need to look for in a telecommunications vendor. This person will then communication back and forth between the business and procurement so that procurement can go out and negotiate a contract for them.

This individual will be responsible for translating the business's requirements for IT Vendors to Procurement, so that contracts and services can be negotiated and agreed upon. They will also build business cases for commercial licensing.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration, legal studies, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification in contract management is a plus. Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
