Medical Center Front Desk - Call Router
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
One of the nation’s top health care providers is looking to fill a Front Desk - Call Router role.
Location: San Diego, CA
Pay: $16-$20hr
Schedule: Day and Evening Shifts
Contract Length: 6 months with possibility of extension
Position Description
Places, receives and routes a high volume of calls through an electronic key system or a switchboard system. Takes and relays telephone messages. Greets, escorts and directs visitors. Provides general information to callers or visitors. Provides telephone directory assistance. Has ability to communicate clearly and accurately; uses a telephone system to receive and transfer calls; and shows patience and courtesy when dealing with people.
Required Skillsets
Experience in call center or heavy phone volumesAbility to multitask and work quickly
Preferred Skillsets
Knowledge of Centrex Phone SystemsPBX System and Switchboard System and knowledge of emergency codes in hospitals.
Required Education
High School Diploma
