📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Description
Accurately post payments, adjustments, and denials in the billing system. Ensure proper allocation of payments and adjustments to appropriate accounts. Identify and resolve posting discrepancies and billing issues, working closely with other departments as needed. Review and analyze Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and remittance advice to identify payment discrepancies. Collaborate with insurance companies, payers, and other stakeholders to resolve payment and reimbursement issues.
