📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Description
This Project Manager will need to have expert knowledge of cable TV construction standards, understanding on CATV equipment and how infrastructure is built for Hybrid Fiber Coax and Fiber.. an ideal candidate has previously worked at a cable provider. They will cover Nassau County field work, supporting QC's and surveys for mdu builds and FTTH
Project manager will oversee performance of vendors for Long Island, will require travel daily to visually inspect progress Will be tasked with providing reporting, analysis and scheduling with assigned vendor for FTTH project Project Manager will perform quality checks of new installs performed by assigned vendor to ensure standards are met and vendor is meeting goals set by Altice USA for builds. Project Manager will be able to provide documentation of network construction issues as well as documentation of equipment in the field to report to management

Understanding of OSP network for CATV and Fiber builds Must be able to present reports and analysis to management Knowledge of basic design calculations for HFC and FTTP design/construction specifications Interpretation and utilization of standard engineering and design principals. Coordination of activities for management progress review. Ability to act as liaison between construction, transport, public safety and outside firms.
