Proposal Writer

Our goal is to find an individual who can effectively showcase our initiatives, accomplishments, and future plans in a manner that resonates with the award criteria and stands out among submissions. This is going to be an opportunity for the right person to potentially become a long-term project, or develop a permanent role, of knowledge management writing within the department. That role would involve creating documentation, reports, and narratives regarding our ongoing initiatives, best practices, and case studies around our digital transformation.

The Selected Writer Will Be Responsible For

Conducting initial research and interviews with key stakeholders within our organization to gather comprehensive information about our digital initiatives. Collaborating closely with our internal team to understand our objectives, projects, and impact on the community. Crafting a compelling narrative that highlights our achievements in digital innovation, including the use of technology to improve public services, data-driven decision-making, cybersecurity efforts, and community engagement. Ensuring the submission adheres to the award's guidelines, criteria, and submission deadlines. Revising the draft in accordance with feedback from our team to refine the submission before the final deadline.

We Are Looking For a Writer With

Proven experience in writing award submissions, grant proposals, or similar documents, preferably in the fields of technology, government, or urban development. Excellent research, interviewing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to present complex information in an engaging, clear, and concise manner. Strong understanding of digital transformation in public sector contexts, including familiarity with topics such as smart cities, digital services, data analytics, and cybersecurity. Ability to work collaboratively with our team, incorporating feedback and revisions efficiently. Outstanding attention to detail, with a commitment to producing high-quality work within tight deadlines.
