📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Description
TEKsystems client is implementing ServiceNow's CMDB module for tracking of all of their physical and virtual technology assets. They have a ServiceNow team that will help with some of the support, and project managers who can help with that side of things, but they need a technical resource to truly own the execution of their implementation and administration plan for the CMDB (and potentially make recommendations for improvement). As of right now, their asset tracking is done in excel, so this will be a total overhaul and success of this project will be important to make smart financial and technical decisions moving forward.
The right candidate for this role will have experience with ServiceNow CMDB throughout both the implementation and administration phase. They should have some scripting experience, they don't need to be experts here but do need to be able to help with development and customization of some elements in the CMDB. They are using Tanium to collect data about their endpoints and assets, and that data will need to be extracted and imported into SNOW. Candidates should have familiarity with this process (does not need to have been Tanium, other similar tools will work too).
