📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
This position requires an active DOD Security Clearance and Security Plus certification*****
Description
Handle tier 2-3 trouble tickets that come in via Remedy. This can include
something as simple as removing a site collection or adding additional
space, or something as difficult as InfoPath communication errors or
Workflow errors.
Patching both Classified and Unclassified systems on a monthly basis.
This involves overtime and working off hours such as Friday night/Saturday.
This can be handled as OT or as make-up time.
Assisting (at least in a small part) in the migration of our SharePoint
farm from our current site to a future site.
Working with other team members in off-site locations (Quantico, VA). Assisting the Tier 1 help desk with general questions and just being a
knowledge base for the Tier 1 group.
Using SharePoint Designer to troubleshoot issues within site collections
and/or workflows.
Assisting as needed during planned and unplanned system outages. Extensive knowledge of SharePoint Web Apps, Central Administration, Site
Collections and use of Virtual Machines (VMWare) is required.
Maintenance of Service Management Records for all site collections within
the farm.
Periodically we're asked to perform physical backups of site collection
data for shipment to other sites.
