UX Designer - Conceptual Design and Prototyping Specialist for major technology innovator in Entertainment!
100% Remote! 6-Month contract with possibility to extend. W-2 Only.
Summary Of The Role
The role focuses on conceptual design and prototyping within various domains. Main objectives include generating ideas, iterating and prototyping designs, and creating demos for review. Looking for a candidate with a rich portfolio showcasing a variety of user experience designs and clean UI. Critical thinking skills and comfort with a broad, iterative design process are essential. Prior experience in technology, entertainment, or consumer electronics industries preferred.
Generate concepts and prototypes in a "Big Ideas/Innovation" teamThis designer will be juggling multiple projects, mainly focusing on the creative and initial stages of the processTight collaboration with cross-functional teamsDynamic role, ability to create iterations and prototyping, with requirements shifting and moving across projects and demosPresent design concepts to team & leadership through thoughtful execution paired with strong communication and presentation skills
Qualifications
4-5 years of experience designing across mobile and desktop with strong conceptual and prototyping skillsA portfolio of work that showcases excellence in design concepting, UI design, and high-fidelity prototypesOutstanding ability to communicate your ideas to designers, engineers, product managers, and leadership through storytelling, visuals, and presentationsFamiliar with industry accessibility standardsExperience working with cross-functional teamsA deep understanding of the importance and usage of design processes and systems, as well as how they’re constructed and iterated on over timeCreative and extremely proficient at using Figma as a primary design toolProven ability to execute at a high level in a remote environment, with consistent internet connectivity and a daily schedulePassion for user-centered design
