Title: Application Developer (Support of File Transfer Systems)Work Location: New Hudson, MI Duration: 12 Months Job Type: Contract Work Type: Remote Pay Rate: $35-$35/hr. ENGAGEMENT DESCRIPTION: The candidate will be working on a small team for various project and base efforts. Both efforts will require Top 3 Required Skills/Experience Experience with the support of file transfer systems. Protocols including SSH, FTP, SFTP, FTPS, Email, SMTP, SMB, GPG, HTTP(s), and cron 3 years of experience with Linux or unix Help desk and other relevant experiences highlighting customer interactions, communications skills, and interactions with managed services providers Required Skills/Experience – The rest of the required skills/experience. Include: Written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with system users and other technical colleagues. Experience managing operational systems, including the ability to analyze system logs to assess operational issues Experience specifying and managing implementation requirements for managed services providers; Edifecs preferred. Preferred Skills/Experience – Optional but preferred skills/experience.
