Job Description
JOB DUTIES: Using detailed test procedures, the functional test technician will perform various electrical testing on packaged silicon devices to determine functionality of the device.The duties include but are not limited to changing the setup of hardware and software on an ATE tester or bench system.Through the use of various internal hardware test tools, internal software utilities or third utilities will capture and report failures to engineering and debug teams.Functional technician will capture and record results/data into various databases.Assigned tests must be completed in a timely fashion based off expected completion time and customer/internal roadmap deadlines.Must be able to multi-task under high pressure situations in order to meet deadlines.EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: AAS Degree in Computer Engineering/Technology or equivalent training and experience; Strong background in handling ESD sensitive devices, use of ATE testers, Agilent, Advantest, or equivalent.Minimum of 1+ years working in a test lab; Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on detail, including use of MS Office software.
