A Little Bit About the Role:As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be a key player in enhancing the backbone of our SaaS platform. This role involves direct collaboration with the VP of Engineering, where you will co-lead the development initiatives to adapt and scale our solutions for new and existing customers. Your contributions will be critical in driving the future expansions and capabilities of our platform. As our Senior Software Engineer - Backend, you will be responsible for the following:

Strategic Development: Spearhead the backend development of our platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.Close Collaboration: Work closely with the VP of Engineering to align development with overall business objectives and customer needs.API Craftsmanship: Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs that enable flexible and scalable interactions between different system components.Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership within the team, promoting best practices in coding, testing, and maintenance.Complex Problem Solving: Address complex technical challenges with innovative solutions, contributing to all software development lifecycle phases.

To be successful at Telegraph, you must bring…Experience: Minimum 6 years of backend development experience, preferably in a startup or high-growth tech environment.Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in backend development with proven skills in Python or Golang.Architectural Acumen: Advanced knowledge of Systems and API design.Bonus Skills: Competence in machine learning tools, DevOps or Infrastructure.
