Position Summary

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the clinical treatment services provided to clients of the Dane County Care Center (DCCC) and the Integrated Behavioral Health Unit (IBHU). DCCC is a 16-bed residential crisis stabilization unit and IBHU is a residential program serving individuals with substance use and mental health challenges. The position supports the work of Clinical Case Managers, Behavioral Health Technicians, Nurses, and other roles by delivering comprehensive and individualized supervision. The Clinical Supervisor develops and implements the clinical focus of our mission to manage, motivate, and follow through with client treatment planning and mental health services.

Essential Functions

Provide group and individual supervision for staff of DCCC and IBHUCollaborate with Program Supervisors and Directors to provide clinical supervision in accordance with state statutes for Community-Based Residential Facilities and Emergency Mental Health Service ProgramsAttend daily clinical staffingSustain knowledge of individual client treatment plansOccasionally provide clinical treatment services directly to clientsProvide feedback and guidance to program staff as it relates the quality of servicesReview and sign Crisis Stabilization Assessment and Treatment Plans, as well as other documentation in the electronic health recordMaintain records, correspondence, reports, and other documentation as required by state regulationCollaborate with the SUD Clinical Supervisor as needed to provide comprehensive supervision (for IBHU only)

Qualifications

Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a related fieldLicensed Clinical Social Worker certification required3-5 years of mental health service provision experience requiredPrevious clinical supervision experience preferredSubstance Abuse Counselor certification preferred
