Terracon has an opportunity for a Materials department administrative position assisting our Northern Colorado (Greeley/Longmont/Fort Collins) offices. In this position, you will interact with both our office and field personnel. This is a fast-paced position which requires multitasking use of phone, email, and text communication with a variety of personnel. Duties will include office administration, assistance with finalizing documents, proposal and project set-up, limited accounting, and scheduling of field staff. Our Materials department is expanding quickly and looking for team members that will help drive our offices forward and find a new rewarding career!

Essential Role And Responsibilities

Duties as assigned including in assisting in reporting, training records, filing, and invoicingAssist in proposal set-up in internal software, downloading plans, and inputting data into proposal templatesAssist in project set-up in internal software, registering projects, researching project specifications and project requirementsPlan, schedule, and dispatch technicians to project sites based on technician skill set, certifications, location, project, and priorityCreate, maintain, and monitor daily schedules for dispatching to our technicians; modify and update schedulesRelay accurate information to technicians, ensuring proficient, quality customer experiencesAnswers telephones, screens calls and forwards messagesCommunicate effectively with clients and collect information accurately to create work ordersResponsible for maintaining quality standards on projectsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environment – sometimes hectic during heavy workloadFollow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience or the equivalent in training and related experienceValid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.Experience with computer use and Microsoft Outlook, Word, Google Maps and ExcelExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work under pressureAbility to learn new software quickly

Preferred Requirements

Construction administration/Construction/Engineering background with understanding of building and construction terminology.Customer service experience/background
