Tesla is currently seeking an experienced Mobile Tire Technician to contribute to work on one of the most progressive vehicles in the world. This role involves substantial customer and employee interaction, necessitating not only technical expertise but also a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service. The position entails daily travel within the region, as directed by the Mobile Tire Dispatch Team. Membership of our world-class service team requires a dedication to supporting cutting-edge EV technology and accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable energy.

What You'll Do

Performs apprentice-level inspection, repair, and service of Tesla electric vehiclesOperate a variety of hand, power, and shop toolsPerform equipment inspections, adjustments, and certificationsMaintain records of time, expenses, materials, and cleanliness of vehiclesEffectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlinesSupport other Mobile Service Technicians and Tesla Service Centers as neededDaily regional travel

What You'll Bring

Knowledge of methods and techniques in the maintenance and repair of vehicles; trade school training/ ASEs preferredHands-on experience mounting and balancing tires and tire repairExcellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to follow instructionsAbility to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work, including the public and multiple internal stakeholdersAbility to quickly adapt to new systems, processes, and a dynamic work environmentMust be comfortable with daily regional travel and operating a large service vehicle (including but not limited to tow trucks and trailers)Must have a valid driver’s license in country of employment; must be willing to become DOT certified

Expected Compensation

$27.00 - $40.00/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
